Kristin
I’m a sports nutritionist, marathoner, performance fueling nerd and mom to two crazy boys.
I am a lifelong athlete who fell in love with running when I was 15 and never looked back. To date, I’ve run 20 marathons, 1 ultra, and countless shorter races. In my 20s, I thought it would be a good idea to run one marathon a month for an entire year. I quickly realized that proper fueling and nutrition was as, if not more, important to the success of that venture than the run training was. I dove headfirst into Google and realized quickly that the Internet is a strange and scary place when it comes to nutrition advice and it’s hard for athletes to take in all the advice and separate fact from fiction, terrible idea from solid performance fueling tactic. This experience led me to pursue my Master of Science in Nutrition with a focus on sports nutrition and performance fueling.
For the last 5+ years I have worked with athletes of all levels hit their biggest, baddest goals. Whether you want to run a BQ marathon or your first 5k, nailing your nutrition and fueling must be an integral part of your journey. I pride myself on my ability to break down complicated research and nutrition concepts, making them applicable to athletes and their training. My goal is to educate my athletes such that when they are done working with me, they are set free into the world confident they can continue putting what they’ve learned into practice. And of course, my ultimate goal is to help my athletes smash their goals!
